OUTWARD BOUNDwhee okay im like finally back. and im proud to say that i survived without money and handphone for the whole of five days. that's one of the biggest challenge actually. (:First day:waking up was difficult. as in it's been a long time since i wake up at five plus for school. then had to carry that going to explode bag to school. then we went to punggol jetty to take a boat over to camp two our campsite. got a bit seasick on the baot cos there was this oil smell tt makes me feel nauseous. we got into groups and i was in Hillary!! the group includes: lynna, jolene, amanda, shuyi, louisa, cheok wing, yanshan, mo lan, diana, Anh, muhammad, zhuochun and chi xuan. they're really fun (: esp shuyi and her eye gallop advertisement. went for kayaking and we tried capsizing and stuff. we had to cook our own dinner every night using solid fuels and mess tins. it was time to flaunt my "superb" culinary skills. hah. and we got candy, our instructor. she's really cute and funny. second day:we did belaying, trust fall, abseiling and lastly night solo walk in the forest. the solo walk was the best. (: it was super dark and we had to walk through the woods alone one by one without using torchlight. it's was scary but fun still. i was so worried during the trust fall cos im not very light and i worry that they cant even catch me with the mat properly. third day: did rock climbing in the morning. it was super difficult. went trekking to the next campsite. it was a painful experience for my shoulders. had to carry some freaking bag tt was like heavier than myself. zhuo chun said he rather carry me than carry the bag. it was a 4km walk i think. after two hours we reached and after soem activity we went to take a dip at some freshwater lake. it's my favourite activity! the lake was like so pretty and clean and refreshing. haha. zhuo chun dont know how to swim. he was like struggling there while me and lynna laughed at him. oh then sth bad happened at night. there was this slope at the beach in front of the campsite while climbing up that slope i lost balance and slide down the slope on my knee. it was bleeding really badly and it hurt so badly. candy let amanda try first aid. it was a wrong move. hah. cos the wound got infected the next day. and something spastic happened during the sleeping time at night. i was sleeping at the door in the tent. then i felt sth twirl in my hair. so i quickly ruffled my hair then i think the insect flew and smack on lynna's neck. she let out an eeek sound then we both woke up instantly. jolene was like wad the hell cos we both got so paranoid and kept screaming" oh gosh wad the hell was that freaking thing!" "ahh i dont want to sleep in this tent anymore!" "jolene! shine your touchlight over there! no no! here. NO! over there!! where the hell is it?!" hah. then no choice we went to find zhuochun wanting to exchange tents with the guys. we wanted to barge in to pull chixuan out to help us then they were like "no!!" cos he was wasnt wearing anything inside the tent. haha. they refused to exchange but helped us look inside the tent tho. till now i still dont know wad the hell was it. lizard? bat? or even a toad?fourth day:the sea expedition had to kayak back to our original campsite. it was a seven and a half hour kayaking trip. oh gosh all of us became all red and suntan or sunburned. originally my kayak partner was zhuochun. cos we thought it'll be better to partner a guy cos they're suppose to be like stronger? but in the end... nvm.. (: it was pretty fun to kayak with him except the times when he clashes his paddle with mine and whack his paddle against my head. oh and he said that im one of the strongest gals he even seen. hah. wad a laugh. but he helps me to paddle when im tired too. so nice of him. he's just like a big brother to me and lynna. then after the break on a small island, we changed partners cos diana doesnt know how to paddle. she has to partner a guy so i went to partner jo. diana doesn even really paddle at all anyway. poor zhuochun. he finally knows that how important i am after the sea expedition. it was almost died at the last part at the channed there. furthermore the seawater keep coming in touch with my wound. ouch... finally we reached and it was nice feeling to be standing on land. after showering i went to find candy for my wound. it was so infected that in the middle of the night i got sent to the medical clinic and camp one to dress my wound. sitting on the speed boat was fun but it makes you feel like an idiot for kayaking for seven plus hours. when you can just simply sit on the speed boat and take less than half an hour to reach the place. the best part was that the medical clinic was air-conditioned!! (: the medical lady is really funny. i was in pain when she cleaned the wound so i kind of wimpered then she thought i was crying. and she think that grace and i have no common sense at all. hah.fifth day: yay. had fever in the morning so i couldn wait to get home. we packed the stuff and had a small group chat with candy. out of nowhere this stupid lizard appeared and anh went to catch it and chase after the girls with it. it was pretty childish but it was funny. im still glad i have my bed now (: and so sorry, est, rach, pam and the band, i missed jubilate. hope you all had an enjoyable performance!
