the surprise was amazing. i really cant describe it with words.

lastly the walk was sweet, not the cake kind of sweet.

2008 birthday is really my best one so far.

i had a fabulous day today, really. i feel loved and cared for by everyone today. okay i shall say my thanks now.

i want to thank all those who made my day either by wishing me happy birthday vis sms, verbally or in any other ways. okay just before i wanted to list everyone's name i just realised there's too many to mention. okay you guys should know who you are so yes thank you very much. i shall just make some very special thank yous here.

firstly i want to thank pamela and mijie. they together, wrote and compiled this whole thick notebook for me. inside they wrote about the good and bad times we had experienced together within this 4 years and about how we had met and alot alot of stuff. there's alot of dawings by them too that are super cute. it's super sweet i tell you. i almost cried while reading it. these two are really friends that i will have for life. i really can't imagine how would it be if i didnt met them 4 years ago.

secondly i want to thank my netball team! they wanted to give me this birthday surprise and they sent mel to tell me that the netball team "can't" celebrate my birthday today. i had my suspicions because i sort of spotted wenjia coming to the canteen to put a big birthday cake into the dessert aunty's fridge this morning. then after school, on my way down to the grand stand i saw the big group of them downstairs with the birthday cake. how nice (: oh yes and i'm so glad huiqi forgot that i actually smashed cake on her on her birthday. she didnt do anything to me today. we went out to play pool after school (:

thirdly, i want to thank my oh four people. they sang me the birthday song during caal today. special thanks to wanyun, joyce, lava and xiuhui tho she didnt come to school today, i got to eat this very yummy cake from sweet secret and we gonna have a celebration this saturday and i want everyone to dress up for it haha (: i think xiangyin doesnt want to go becos of that.

last but not least, i want to thank you :-D. you know who you are. i really appreciate it (: (:

my 1st birthday cake this year (:

mijie, pam and rachel celebrated my birthday today. it's two days early cos they aren't free on e actual day. esther and cordelia didnt turn up though but i'm already really happy even if only one turns up. this is like the fifth year we've known each other? and i think some of us are still going strong (: they sang me the bday song twice loudly ((: it was really nice to meet rachel again after so long and catching up the good old times with them. the sharing of new experiences was enjoyable too. rachel says tt girls in nanyang jc tends to have a mirror and comb with them wherever they go haha! and she so can't wait to get out of there. i think she doesnt suit there either haha!

okayy everyday's been busy busy and busy. the teachers gave us 20 chemistry tutorial questions plus math tutorial qns and economics mcq qns just within the first week. i so can't imagine e weeks to come. i guess i'm still struggling with e new timetable. we're no longer sitting in one classroom waiting for e teacher to step in. we're now rushing all over the school getting to our lessons venues. for someone like me who has serious problems with directions, got lost several times trying to find the container classrooms. what a great start for school huh. ms nice xiuhui made a special note to remind me where is lt2 and 3 again but i always dont remember which one is which. i'm not tt familiar with the TA and TB classroom blocks too. okay that's like practically the whole school already. sigh. yes considering e fact that i've been in nj for 2 years already, i know i do suck. haha

and i have second thoughts about biology. it's so freaking diffficult and i dont understand most of the stuff. maybe i should have just taken pcme instead darn. maybe i'll change subject combi after e o level results are out.

no matter what, i'm still counting down to my birthday EAGERLY. pls dont disappoint me, kids. haha!

OG 23 <3

orientation 2008 has come to an end with the last day programme packed with war games and dance party. i was pretty worried for war games at first because after the battle between the 6 houses, it was the battle between hundred plus OGLs and 800 plus newbies. can you believe it? the objective of the whole game was to just let the newcomers attack us with their less than 11,000 water bombs. but smarty pants like us the OGLs, managed to trick them into giving us some of their water buckets haha. i think i walked straight into their water point and announce that the game hasnt started (which actually has already started) and i'll help them refill their buckets. HAHA. so i just took them out and ran back to the ogl safe zone in the middle of the field.

oh yes and i forgot my red ogl shirt that day so i was one of the very few ogls wearing nj pe shirt which also means tt i was an easy target. some water bombs really came down on us hard and they hit the weirdest places. i shan't elaborate on that. haha. but i thought it was even more fun to play along with the other ogls in the safe zone. i think weiming was the main culprit which made me end up like i was showering there. pauline and sherfeng too. mijie came attacking me with a water bomb as well but in the end i got her even wetter than before. and i think i got her sick i'm sorry girl i didnt mean it. the most hilarious part came at the end of war games when the guys ogls started to play the pull down your pants game among themselves. i heard nicholas goh's pants plus undies got pulled down haha poor my station games partner. and i saw justin putting the black soil like thingy into other people's undies which is like super gross. guys really have unique way of playing. i think leejing's shorts got pulled down too. poor girl.

dance party at night seriously rocked i think. my ogl russell came back to njc as well (: how cute considering e fact tt i'm currently an ogl now and he was my ogl two years ago. it was also because i had joyceyap with me (: if wasn't for her, it wouldnt had been so fun right, joyce? hope she reads this. and i realised i have alot of stuff to tell her abt the dance party. luckily she's taking bcme too. we danced at the right bottom stage area there with benjamin, i call him mr scandalous, from my OG and along with his soccer friends plus nicholas and two other j1s, wayne and shawn. i had loads of fun hanging out with them because they're so funny. shawn's a funny guy that can't remember his dance steps well and ben kept trying to teach me some prata dance that doesnt make much sense. haha. in other words it looks retarded. haha

i had loads of fun for orientation this year. even more fun than orientation 2 years ago i think. but it's different kinds of fun i guess. i can't really compare them. i think i'll really miss my aerius ogls, all the other ogls, my og1 for first 3 days and og 23 for this entire week, walk-in dance performance, all the cheering, bonding sessions, mass dance sessions, water bombs and even the early morning meetings at amphitheatre. i gonna miss all these like crazy.

i can't believe this but we've approached the last day of orientation already. like what kristy said, i think i gonna suffer from post-orientation blues. sigh.

we had the quest on Wednesday which was super tiring and wet due to the heavy downpour. we had our mass dance competition today and i'm so pleased to announce that agorix got first place for the "you cant stop the beat" dance and second for the "till the dawn" dance. oh yeah i'm so proud of you guys (:

but oh well disregarding that happy part, it wasnt much of a pleasant day for me. but i was really glad i had joyce, xiuhui and wanyun there with me at the basketball court when i let it flow it all out. i think i scared them. i'm sorry i really didnt mean to. i'm just really bothered by some stuff that may seem so minor and major at the same time. yes i know i dont make sense. oh wells.

now i fully understand what's the meaning of 'shouting your lungs out'. i didnt really enjoy station games because of the shouting part and it's really tiring having to compete with the loud voices coming from the linkway and canteen. and seriously i'm not that good at this kind of thing. i rather talk in a more civilised manner and of a more reasonable volume.

we gonna have the quest tml. hope it'll be fun. i really hope so.

ORIENTATION 2008 - WALK-IN
meet around 6.30 am in school for all the make-up and stuff. the whole process was quite amusing as we have to rush through everything since we're the first house to be up on stage. the clothes,eyeliners, eyeshadows, cardigans, black cloaks, blings, purple hair gels were all in a mess. i didnt even had time to finish my hair then we rushed off for assenbly already. it felt really weird because you have so much extra stuff on your face when everybody else looked normal. matthew said we looked very "purple" duh.. we're from aerius, we got to have purple on us right. haha. after assembly we rushed back to amphi to get ready.
on the way to the hall, our secret weapon, the mega confetti burst by itself. what a letdown. so basically, the walk-in today was really fantastic despite some bloopers here and there. i dropped my stupid black cloak during the crawling in entrance part (and not to mentioned i cursed at that spot and i think some J1 heard me) and there was another blooper during the scandalous dance which i shan't mention because it's too embarrassing. kristy has the whole video of it and hope she sends it to me real soon (:
i watched the video already and i thought the whole performance was really good. i am so proud of my house, aerius. all our time and effort have paid off. so here's the photos (:

2nd day of orientation. talks talks and talks. i really pity the newbies and us the ip3s who have to attend these talks. but at least we know how to get out of them. haha. oops

mas dance session today was fun. dancing with cecilia is really quite enjoyable considering the fact that she often so high and bouncy unless she's sleepy.

i forgot to mention that i went to buy new uniforms yesterday from beauty world. wanting a bigger size skirt even though i could fit into the old skirt size of 24, i told the aunty that last time she sold me a 24 but i want a bigger size now. you know what she replied? she said: "24! how can you wear 24 now?! must get bigger size!" wad the... i can fit into 24 okay i just want a bigger skirt that's all. she need not insult me like this. oh and the new uniform material really makes me feel like i'm wearing raincoat. yuck. the cotton material was still the best disregarding the fact that the new material is water proof (like real) , fire proof.

and i'm starting to like my OG more. they're getting friendlier. hahas. OG1, we rock!

orientation 2008 commences today. it's really a busy busy day for all the newbies and OGLs. but it really makes me happy to be able to see mijie and pam in my school, going through orientation. after two years, we're attending the same school again. wooohooo

there's other sngs girls like julia, enid and elaine. oh and guess wad my that sneaky cousin of mine, melissa, is in nj too. she kept a secret from me all this while to give me a surprise in school today. to think that i was still upset with her for not telling me which jc she's going. how sweet. and i just realised this is one of the very few times i see her in her RV uniform. laughs.

i'm the OGL for OG1 currently and my OG seems quite enthusiastic (wanying is one of them). great. the orientation package is quite cool as well and i like the designs of all the shirts.

beep test in the afternoon. i got a 9.1! i can't believe it myself either. i really deserve a pat on my back. haha.

walk in practice after that. i think solaris walk in dance is really getting better.

people always get the wrong idea. you're just not the right "he" no matter the 99 roses or how much you want to take care of me

OGL CAMP was cool (: it wasn't the best camp i attended because some of the activities were really exhausting or not as interesting. but some parts of it were really cool. we had station games for the first day, the quest for second day and war games plus walk in prac on the last day. the second night was fun because we stayed up till like 4+ am in the morning playing cards, the polar bear game and telling ghost stories.having to sleep only an hour plus, the last day of camp was quite a torment for me. nonetheless, it was interesting to see the other houses' walk in dance performance. no matter which house's walk in, i think the effort placed in by every single one of us is admirable. good job, OGLs! (: i can't wait for orientation.
