guess wad. i was trapped in the lift of my house today!! i was suppose to go meet wanyun for luch before heading to roddy's house for project. as usual i took the lift down and it suddenly jerk downwards and i felt the heart-dropping feeling. yep so it stopped there okayy. in the middle of the 2nd floor to 1st floor. i was stuck in the lift with very poor reception..
then there was this woman's recorded voice which says: " please do not try to pry open the door, the lift is experiencing some mechanical problems. pls press the alarm and wait for help." i was thinking what the hell will i go pry open the door for? it's not like i have the strength to do so anyway. what great advice.. honestly i was so damn freaking scared and i almost cried in there. the air-con was cut off but the lights were still on. kind of worried that there wont be enough oxygen for myself but when i panic i breathe even faster. i didnt want to look like a really desperate person by keep pressing the alarm non-stop, so i pressed for a couple of times only. and i finally managed to call my brother from the lift despite the poor reception. i think i told him, " Kor, i'm stuck in lift! it wont move! HOW??" to think of it now, the whole thing seems quite funny.
after around ten mins, somebody came and fixed the problem. hahas. i didnt want him to see me looking terrified so when he asked if i was okay, i tried my best to smile and replied okay. the maintenance guy opened up the door and since i was stuck in the middle of two floors, the surface of the 2nd floor was so high up and he expected me to climb up okay. i guess i looked pretty unglam while climbing out the lift. he didnt even helped me out -.-
