training camp was FUN and TIRING. we have trainings once in the morning and once in the afternoon. the very first thing we did on the first training for the camp was sprints. MANY MANY sprints. we all felt like dying after completing it. that was the worst part of the whole camp. the other trainings were tiring but not that bad. we went out to buy groceries on the first day which included breakfast and chips of course. but in the end we bought too much we didnt finish the muesli bars (not "marsli bars") and the lemon puffs.
we slept in the gym for both nights which gave us the shoulder aches and back aches added on to the muscles aches from trainings. the second night was eventful. we had a cockroach crawling among us in the middle of the night. joyce spotted it first cause it was on her hands. then there was the screaming and jumping around part and trying to search for the cockroach. it was around 3.30 am in the morning. we switched on all the lights and joyce went after the cockroach with xinyi's slippers. "piak piak!" then the cockroach died and joyce swept the dead cockroach into the wushu's cca room. haha. everyone complained about not having to fall asleep again after the cockroach incident.
mel, wenjia, huiqi and i went to mr loh's wake on the second night of camp too. it was really depressing and a pity that he has now left us. during the service, his dad told us his life story. we just can't help tearing. i really do hope he's well wherever he is now.
on the last day at night, we had our seniors' farewell over at pauline's function room. we prepared a song for them and catered food. we were all pretty worried about the presentation of the food and room at first because it looks cheapskate. so stressed out that peizi and huiqi cried thinking that it's their fault when it totally isn't. but in the end the tealight candles we brought down from pauline's house saved everything i guess. the candles made the whole table look alot more presentable. we sang "meet you there" by busted with the lyrics edited. it goes like this:

okay there's still the third verse but i dont remember how it goes already. sweeet huh? we're a bunch of really nice juniors. the night ended with loads of mahjong and bridge card games. haha. those are the favourites of the netball team.
