Since i'm in a great mood today, i shall do a blog post! (:
I went on a shopping trip alone to Orchard and then Vivocity today. I needed to claim my $40 voucher from Sephora before it expires this month. Considering the fact that I am probably going to start intensive revision for my final papers very soon, I figured that I should hurry go claim the $40 before I forget or can't find the time to.
Yeah so it was a lonely yet fruitful trip today. Actually I enjoy shopping alone when it comes to shopping for things such as beauty products. Firstly, I like to try the testers, roam around the store a few times to consider a purchase, walk around to check out on the so-expensive-i-can't-afford skincare lines, and yeah that means I think i can stay in Sephora for about an hour on my own. I think i stayed there for almost 40 mins today. Thus this means that if I bring Ronald along, i'll bore him out totally. If I bring my parents along, they'll be bored and probably try to nag me out of buying anything in Sephora since most of the stuff there aren't cheap. The best person i can think of bringing along is probably Melissa. She loves to shop skincare stuff too!
Anyway so yeah the purpose of today's blogpost is to talk about the stuff i bought! (: i bought a few masks, a body lotion, hand cream, and acne spot treatments.
Firstly, the masks. I saw the Leaders Insolution masks that Cordelia raved about at Watsons, going at a discount of buy 3 get 1 free. so... i decided to buy 3 and try! Since my complexion is so bad (worsen because of my menses) i grabbed the AC-Dressing ones that look like this:
and next we have the hand cream, which was a love at first try! i just saw this little small display of Soap & Glory hand cream at Sephora. It said: "The Most Astonishing Hand Cream Ever!" and "Food for your Skin!" Since there was a tester, i tried it out and indeed i was astonished! haha! it turned my hands really smooth and the smell was so fruity and nice. I knew i had to get it to save my hands from turning to be like a 80 year old hag's hand. and maybe with a smoother hand, Ronald will want to hold my hands more haha! (: so here it is:
So pink and bimbotic right? i like (:
and we have the body lotion. oh my trust me this is the hardest to get. i dont want something that turn me really sticky because ronald will complain when i have sticky skin. he'll go: "oh eee don't touch me. you're so sticky..." and bleah bleah bleah. like hellooooo i'm doing all this so my skin looks nicer okay! haha! oh yeah and the scent played an important factor when i was choosing the lotion i want. i don't want ronald to go "eeee... so smelly!" which i think he will definitely say that if i applied some shea butter or cocoa butter stuff. i hate those smell too but they apparently suppose to be very nourishing for the skin. well so after much consideration, i decided on Burt's Bee (i spelt Burt as BUST just now!) because it's made of purely natural ingredients. I am totally into paraben-free and natural products now after i started Naruko. So yeah here's a photo of the Burt Bee's Radiance Body Lotion with royal jelly

it smells good and gives your skin some shimmering effect after application (:
Maybe the shimmering effect will make me look like a mermaid? hehe MAYBE.
and lastly i have my acne spot treatment: Mario Badescu Drying Lotion! this is one freaking expensive piece. thankgoodness i have the sephora vouchers. It better do wonders like all those bloggers and reviews have said. at first, looking from photos online, i thought it would be a pretty big bottle. but fuck it was only a puny bottle of 29ml. like why 29 right. i have no idea. yup but well it's suppose to be a spot treatment so i dont need alot to begin with so yeahh. It has two layers: a blend of Calamine and Salicylic Acid. you're suppose to use a cotton swab and dab onto the calamine part and then apply it on the affected areas. I can only use it right before i sleep because i wouldnt want to walk around with mega white spots on my face!
See what i mean when i said i thought it was a big bottle? the pictures online all make the bottle damn fucking big. i went 0.0 when I saw the puny bottle in Sephora.
yup so this is the end of my haul post! wow it's a really long post. okay gonna try them all out and see how it goes!
